Default XMS Secret Santa

i'd just like to know everybody's thoughts on this by the end of this weekend, some members thought it'd be a good idea. basically, you get assigned randomly to another member that's participating and you'd send them a gift, your secret santa would send you a gift. what are your thoughts on this everybody. it would be completely voluntary w/ like a $10-$15 limit or so.

But im all for giving it a shot!

We can always do it with the people that have good feedback ratings.

But there is always the chance of that idiot that would scam someone for $10-15 worth of stuff.

well no one is really going to get scammed, they are just going to get left out, worst case senario.

Pretend your SS was suicide, so you send him a $10 Hummer body. and pretend i was your SS. and i just dont send you anything at all. Well you didnt get scammed, just kind of left out thanks to the immaturity of a person who cant come threw with what they volunteered for.

Sounds neat but what about us Jewish people here? Lol I actually am but the idea is neat but I'm broke so I could not be a "Secret Santa" to someone.

first off, you wouldn't be sending something to somebody for free, because somebody else would be sending you a gift also. it would be voluntary, if you don't want to participate you don't have to, and $15 isn't much, i spend that on starbucks every day. it would be well coordinated and we'd do our absolute best to make sure nobody didn't receive a gift.

how about the people who want to take part do a "wish list" that way you get parts you mite need instead of parts you allready have (kinda like getting 15 pairs of socks at xmas when all you want is a bottle of JD )

who just wants one single present? i'd rather get fifteen presents i don't want than one that i do.

but, yeah, this idea is full of problems. too much could go wrong. i support it for whoever wants to do it, but there's no way i'd want to participate.

I'd go for it, only if you have verified feedback from other business transactions. Wether in our iTrader system or on other forums

If none at all it would IMO be up to the staff's decision based on your behavior on here, basically.

Once something is final though, we'll let you know of course.
