hello im new to the site, does anyone know what model scale body size fits on an xmod chasis, and what brand should i buy.

Xmods are 1:28th scale.
1:24 scale bodies usually end up slightly shorter or longer, but the chassis can be extended to fit. But generally, 1:24th and 1:25th scale bodies are the easiest to find...

...and if you look on ebay there are some 1/26, 27 and 28 models and rc cars that you can use bodies from as well
