I got this for super cheap. Now I need to get some paint. And I wasn't planning on buying many upgrades for my Z's, but these groups of upgrades were bidding for obscenely cheap, so I placed my bids and won 3 lots. All for about 1/4 regular price. And I'm still waiting for two more lots with about 60 upgrades total in them. Some wheels, bearings, lock nuts, and these silly wheel lights. A BUNCH of knuckles. Tires, springs, shims, bearings, motor mounts. Diffs and gears. And my favorites - PN rear mounts and Atomic SAS. Q & C welcome. EDIT - Almost forgot about the PN racing D5 rims. And I finally got my other packages of parts and upgrades. 64 pieces in total. Mostly Kyosho parts.
And I know there's an empty package here, but it wasn't when I got it. ***EDIT*** Somehow I forgot about this package of goodies. The same day I got the biggest package I went to a nearby mini-z track for my first time. (http://www.minirc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=650) It's a pretty big track and privately owned, not funded by a hobby store like I think most are. So I raced around the track a bunch and had a pretty big crash that resulted in this....... I had quickly looked in the box when I got it and saw the alloy knuckles, so I was able to replace them and keep running. I got pretty dirty racing..... So I gave it a wash. All shiny and clean and ready to race again. Q & C welcome. Last edited by xmodcanuck; 04-25-2010 at 07:15 PM.. |

Be sure to bring that badboy with you next weekend and we'll scuff it up good against my 430gt awd.
Consider a few things first: 1 set up some narrow front rims. You'll have way too much grip with wide fronts and you'll oversteer all over the place 2 I'm not quite sure which hardness tire you have on there but you should try medium rather than soft or super soft. Grip is much higher with AWD and soft tires force oversteer and even traction rolling. 3 bring it in a soft suspension setup. My track is "bumpy" from the driveway layout and you'll need ut to be compliant over the imperfections. Looking forward to next weekend! |

Thanks for the tips Cowboy. I've heard that a lot about wides on the front of the AWD. I just had them up front for goofing around the house. I noticed I had a lot of clearance with my +2.5 fronts and wanted to see if I could go wider up front with more offset, that's all. I'm pretty sure I can fit +3.5 up front. Normally I have atomic 20 in the rear and I think 30 in the front. I'll be sure to set it up with softer springs. I just looked up and found that the whites are pretty hard. Can't wait to do some racing this weekend.

Ryan has all the travel info so i think we're good to go...
I cant remember which offsets i have on my F430Gt (2.5 front/3.5rear?) but the fitment is real nice. Im hoping you might have a few sets of plastics to bring with you so i can tape up some new tires for different bodies. The f430 is really edgy (and so is that F360GT,btw) so Im looking at trying something like an NSX on it. We'll most likely have a couple catagories but it isnt going to be too rigid...Kirby and I mostly dial back our endpoints to match slower cars and inexperienced drivers(which there might be a couple, not sure) |

And $2k - maybe if I bought them at 'retail price', but since I only bought one AWD chassis full price, the rest I bought cheap I would say about 1/3 that price. Thanks for the manly support. And there's no need to go ninja. You can find a used am mini-z for pretty cheap. |

As for the actual mini-z, there must be some listed on ebay uk. It seems to me that mini-z is more popular in UK than here in Canada. Just keep looking. |
