Default delrin main/pinion gears...

hey everybody, i was wondering if any1 knew where to get evo delrin main and pinion gears OTHER than the stock tooth count (9/24) that atomic has.....

also, would delrin main/pinion gears be stronger and/or quieter than the stock gears? im just asking cuz it seems like the gear sets that came with the rs stage 2 motor kit are LOUD and fragile.....the stock gears (that came with the evo stock(blue main gear) are quiet but the rest of them stage 2 gears are loud! thanx guys!

Did you put the right spacers in? The gears could be meshed wrong, and be making noise because of it. I think I remember seeing delrin gears somewhere....it might of been Atomic Mods. Either that, or I'm thinking of something else.

ya, ive got the right spacer's in with the correct pinion and main gears....it just seems as tho the stock(blue) main gear is quieter than the stage 2 (green/orange) main gears.

and for the delrin gears, all ive found are the stock (9/24...i believe) gear ratios...basically im looking for like 8/23,9/23,10/25,12/25 etc(all the gear ratios in the rs stage 2 upgrade, just delrin)

i may be mistaken, but i believe the 12/24 gear you linked is just the (stock)main gear(12 teeth on diff side, 24 teeth on pinion side)
i may be wrong.....would delrin be strongerand/or quieter though?

Delrin Main Gear (12T/24/T) - 2pc set Black
you may be right, it says 2 piece set. i dunno though. i personally dont have any issues with the stock gears or upgrade gears so i havent ordered any of these.

have you tried lubing your gears?

They should be quiter and I believe their stronger. You should add a little bit of lube to them. Just enough to cover the gears.
