actually, all around better control in general.
But if you were going to buy an rpmZ for $30 just for the pcb, I'd recommend just buying a microT pcb instead. You could probably get the microT one cheaper on ebay from someone who went brushless with there Mc-T.
But like I said, it's totally possible to hook up a rpmZ pcb to an xmod, and it will work better than the stock one.

Here is a pic of the rpmZ pcb in my son's xmod. Sorry, my wife has the good camera right now and she's not home right now.
It's a bad pic but you can see how big the pcb is in an xmod, I also replaced the antenna with a wire from a ethernet cable.
A micro-t board fits a little better, and of coarse a miniZ board fits the best.
Allot of miniZ drivers are switching to 2.4 so you can pick up an AM board for pretty cheap if you look around. I got mine for $15 delivered, and I could of had another one for $20 from a friend of mine.

Well, I do need some new PCB's. (3 of them) for my projects... gonna be expensive....
