Ahh, ok.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your motive for going through all the trouble to find this?
I mean, I know it was your grandparents, but what reason do you have to find this specific vehicle?

If you have to ask than you don't need to know.

You don't have to be an asshole about it.

I was just asking.
I know it was your great grandparents' car, and I realize there is sentimental value.
I just didn't know if you were trying to find it for your great grandmother, or if it was just something you decided to do.

good luck with your hunt. i understand the sentimental value of a vehicle. my family owns a 1957 cadillac coupe de ville and it couldnt be sold for even the most ridiculous amount. and again good luck tracking down and acuiring your car.

Haven't been able to set aside time. Too much going on ATM to make time to go out and hunt this car. I can make calls and such, but I can't drive out to the area (last owner apparently lives about 50-60 miles north east) or push to purchase the Coronet with things ATM.

I just started thinking about it today, when I was looking at that '70 Valiant. I may track it down this weekend (make the calls I was holding out on) and see if I can find it, use the Miata funds to make an offer for it maybe (in a perfect world).

So much is going on this weekend with car decisions... Instead of buying a better Miata, the CST10 may finally get it's OD trans. All up in the air, waiting back on a few phone calls about a 200R4 rebuild from a friend's shop, and researching for a T56 6-spd swap right now, all of which can be done under budget.

And then this idea popped into my head today to hunt down the Coronet... It would be amazing if I could find it next week, as it's my great-grandmother's 92nd birth day.

Decisions... decisions...

Found it! It's been through a few change of hands, and a stupid white trash owner, but it's in the right hands in Tennessee right now, I think owned by a man who owns a Mopar club there, as evident by the white pages listing for his name...

Thankfully John L. kept track of the car over the years, and has some recent photos of it.

I finally have the current owner's info, and it IS the guy who owns the Mopar club. A quick dig through their photos and...

Why, hello there you little '67 Coronet.

So is your intention to buy it?

Assuming the current owner would even entertain offers, how much do you think that car in that condition is worth?

NADA puts it at 13k$ but classic cars are worth what people are willing to pay for them. THAT one....probably closer to low 20s.

Oh ****nnnnn she is still all original parts?

B1G if possible, that 67' Coronet could hold a value of say anywhere in the area of $1,000.00 all the way up to $100,000.00...

Good job on hunting that car down Tex. original tires?

Tom.
