Default Donziikid's Yellow Mustang:

The good news:
I picked up this Barricade Mustang a few months back for about $15. I decided it would be a good thing to hold onto if in the event Xmods tank and I need a new chassis or parts or whatever. So, I bit the bullet and spent the $15. Well, now that it's a few months later and things are looking somewhat promising, I decided why not give it a new coat of paint.

The bad news:
I can't finish until the weather warms up. Michigan had a nice spurt of high fiftys/low sixties weather, so I ran outside and sprayed as fast as possible. Well, unfortunatly, it's now lowered itself back down to thirty or even twenty degrees. So, I can't finish until the spring time. I'd paint inside, but my brother's bird inhibits me from doing so. Why must they die from every silly little fume they smell? I mean, I only pass out for fifteen minutes around paint. :P

The teaser picture:

I'm not sure what I'm going to do paint/accent wise. I picked up a nice can of RustOleum Metallic Silver that may end up going on, but I may just model it after one of my Forza 2 race cars and just give it some white stripes. I'm not sure yet. Thoughts are welcome.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Looks like a pretty good paintjob!
I'd give it flat black accents myself, maybe a stripe on the flat spot below the windows?

Thank you. There's some slight imperfections on the drivers door, but after a little wetsanding and a new coat of paint it should be good.

Not a bad idea. I'll give it some thought. Thanks.

Are you planning on filling the holes in on the roof?

Looks good. I like the yellow. Kinda reminds me of 4x4Daddy's old Stang. I'd do black instead of white stripes. Yellow and white = meh...

Yea, I'm taking a liking to that idea, too. Thanks for the comment.

Nah. I painted a spare roof from my 06' Mustang along with the stock one. Just left the stock on for the paint.

That's what I thought when I layed the first coat. Color reminds me a lot of 4x4Daddy's too.

*gasp!!!* Please never tell me again that white and yellow do not go well together! :
