Default ShockRacing GTR project

i've started on a gtr project, inspired by some of the more recent bodywork projects i've seen. this will eventually be a widebody, but as it sits now, it's not quite there yet.

a few teaser pictures:

more to come later

there are hints in the teaser pictures on what it's going to be modeled after.

Another WBK GTR eh?
Looking forward to progress.
Got any pic as to what the end result might be?
Why not just buy a BK off XI or make one with putty?

Later, T.I.M

I'd look into some thinner styrene, .5mm or 1mm. Those are pretty easy to cut and shape. They do flex a little more which may or may not be helpful. I would try with the putty to fill in the low spots on the body and fenders to get a smooth flat surface to attach the styrene to with minimum flex.

your designs look pretty sweet man. I can't wait for more updates.

0.5mm would work, but if you can't get some sheet styrene, you can use some plastic phone card, or some old credit card, cut them up and use them as styrene. Also, your design looks very nice!

I would go with black and white, white for the body color, black roof, black lips.

lol i just used red as a indicator color as it contrasts with the black and white underneath. the red will eventually be sanded off.

i'll consider white and black, since those are two of my favorite colors, but this time i think might go with an arctic blue+black scheme

and no, you haven't seen much progress yet, it's got a long way to go, rcxmoddagger. not even close to the final product.

btw, the veilside style is so unclean, too many swoops and curves that have no purpose. i like clean lines, not overexaggerated things. only veilside exceptions i will make is 1: Fortune widebody RX7 and 2. Ver.3 350z widebody kit
