Well, I am trying to finish the body work so I can send it to Bondo for a primer job. Let me just say.....I never claimed to be any good at body work, in fact this is my first REAL body job. The putty was a hassle, but it isn't the worst. I think I can sand it out alright....I sprayed it with a thin flat black coat to check the putty and to finish the blemishes off...it aint to bad, and ill have pics of that up tommorrow.....anyway, here we go..............

Remember this is the hood im going for with this...












A perfect fit to the window.....










Now, my horrible putty work to cover up all my hard work....arrggg.

good job on the scoop.
i gotta ask though,is that first coat of putty the milliput?
if so,why is it so gray?

looks like milliput silver, might be milliput white but dark because of the lighting maybe.

The putty you see on there right now is from the tube in the photo. it is from "Squadron Products" and I was told to use it at the hobby shop. I used it for this part since I wasn't building anything thick...just filling in the gaps, which is what it should be used for according to the LS. Now I will use the milliputty for some thicker parts on the back side of the hood. I will have some photos tonight. .............

Well, I think it turned out pretty decent for my first time really doing this.i am happy with it. Definatly not a work of art though..LOL.

looks pretty good you shoulda made the intake on sides of the scoop usable that would be way cooler that vents in the bumper or somthin like that

yeah, possibly make the cutouts and smoothen the transition from hood to styrene block. it looks good though
