slow updates.
i pretty much finished the skyline's body. i needa fix some imperfections, but thats when i get some primer.

here's that license plate thing i was working on earlier.

and my mind changes a lot, but ive decided to make another bumper. i might as well make use of the fact that i can change it. im working on the more popular 2005/2006 D1 bumper.

still a long way to go. C&C welcome!

Wow, the rear bumper looks perfect. If the paint turns out good this car will look amazing.

another update..taking advantage of Thanksgiving weekend (im in Canada, so we celebrate in Oct., not Nov.). Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!

please dont mind the dishes in the background. its what you get for cramming 2x a month's worth of notes, staying infront of the computer, and working on a project like this. xD

It's update time, it's update time!
just finished term one ****, so im back to the car.
quite a few more detail put into the ER34, and more and more i'm pleased with my results.

Here's 85-90% finished Uras D1 front bumper

Finally touching up on the windows for a more square look (as the coupe has the curved window, not a boxy window like the sedan)

and I decided to go with a sunroof. It's really coming out, imo, but not done yet.
-it is going to be see-through. the plastic is just masked off to prevent any scratches from the roof putty work im putting on it.

here's the reference.

The real life picture looks like a smash up of an late 80's Accord and 90's Acura Legend.

How are you going to mount your mirrors?

I need some of that putty, Bondo's not working too well for me :P

Be careful of the lack of stability once you take all of the windows out.

@ Azn: if anything, i still have the posts under the windshield, so ill screw them on there. then theres nothing a little bit of styrene cant do.

@kidd: haha get some tamiya epoxy putty (blue or green box), not Tamiya White Putty (the one im using at the moment). Its too time consuming xD.

Kinda early for paint IMO. There's still a lot of sanding to be done before it can actually be painted. That 'friend' of yours has a lot of work to do.

Looking real good. The bodywork has come out awesome.

Looking forward to paint.

I suggest you superglue paperclips inside to reinforce the car. Looks filmsy.
