Default A Total Eclipse

I just started this yesterday. It was my first model. It fell and broke off the wing and mirrors.I decided to use it now as a project.I'm using bondo on the door handles, rear bumper, mirrors, and a spot that broke while taking the rear window out.I'm going to make a two-tone paint job.The hood is going to be flat black.I'm making the top competition orange and the bottom flat black(I'm just using the colors I have lying around). It should look pretty good.I already did the hood.I gave it one coat and it was rough(I used 180).Then, I sanded it down with 320 and gave it another coat. It was actually very smooth. Here's some pics.

Looks like a good project to start with. Try sanding with higher grits, e.g. 400, 800, 1000, etc. It'll make it a lot smoother.

Thanks for the feedback.I got it fit to the chassis last night.I've been working on the body for a couple of days.I finally got the bodywork done.I decided to try to paint it today, but when I got 1/3 done,I ran out of flat black. The pics are not with complete body components.

It looks like every single Eclipse around my home!! That's as realistic as it gets.

Nice work so far. Can't wait to see the end result.

That looks great so far. Finish up the paint; I really want to see the final pics!

Keep it up.
