Default MY NEW G35 and MY SLEEPER EVO VIII!

I took off some time to work on my motors - i put neo's in a stage 2 motor and used a 9:23 gear setup in my G35 (yeah - i have 2 of those - the other one i used the chasis on my other bodies) it's got acceleration and speed now! In the EVO VIII i did the 6 cell upgrade and i put in an atomic stock motor that i had. I used a 9:25 gear setup and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries to keep it under 8.4 volts as required. I didn't have to do any fet upgrade because the motor is suited to run with or without a fet upgrade.

I should say that they're both sleepers - looks are deceiving!!

All this and no one to race against - how sad

this was the motor i used and the neo magnets too.

I got it from Rcmart.com - it was like $16.95 or something like that - they have some good stuff on there. the only problem is that you have to wait about a week or two for it to be delivered to you. The prices ain't bad - and for the transaction part - so far i haven't had any problems purchasing from them or getting my stuff.

i'm not sure how fast the G35 is with neo's in the stage 2 motor and Ni-MH batteries but i should say that it's much faster than 30,000 rpm (regular stage2) and it's got alot of torque/acceleration. I took off the 6 cell upgrade on the EVO VIII becuase it a bit too heavy and it wasn't doing aswell i thought - but after the switch back to 4 rechargable - it's running pretty well - i never got the specs on the atomic motor but it's pretty fast too. I should invest in a speed checker but a video would do good too i guess.
