thanks, right now im spending the time to remove the beadlock rings and clean them up, but also painting the wheel itself black. Still have 2 to go now! haha!

as for the body im thinking on using a hardshell body, using a Toyota P/U shortbox. Detailing it with rust, etc, aswell as bumpers with hitches.

i have plans......lots of plans....muhahahaha!

Update:

Heres the wheels i just finished...

Update:

~Sealed off the radiobox and ESC
~Relocated battery stick to rear (but ill be tearing it aparts and making saddlepacks outta it)

For the past day or two ive been having electrical problems with this thing, where the power seemed to have cut-out once in awhile to Fwd/Rev, but still having the steering work aswell as the LED on the ESC lit up. After resoldering new silicone wires to the motor with Deans connectors, changing over Xtals, Changing Rx's, Tx's etc trying to get at the root of the problem....ended up being the brand new motor at the terminals where wonky. Soldered the **** out of both the POS+ and NEG- terms and its back up and running. These crawlers are addtive as crack cocaine!! lol

Body will be a Hilux (70's Toyota) pickup from Tamiya which after some reasearch will run at 124.87 +taxes + S&H for it.
Ill paint it up with whatever color i decide on, but will detail it by applying rust to areas, and a winch to the bumper, etc...

A Hilux Crawler will be sweet! Wish we could get the real Hilux's over here in the states more easily. Do you have a pic of the body?

awesome rig, now time to make it a scale rig with the new working winch from AM and other things. Try not to break it the first time, and does that Fireball have the same torque as a Novak 55? when wheeling it hard be careful and try not to pull the same thing i did in resulting in breaking the front outdrive shaft so now im running 2WD!!

Custom split saddlepacks

Painted 4x4 hubs

Custom panhard bar

Custom front 3-link postmount

Custom steering-box (servo relocated) Used to be mounted to the Fr/axle.

Custom bushguard (unfinished)

Also got a set of Losi 2.5" springs with a 2.6 rate to fit my TRX shocks which give more articulation. Besides, the stock ones leak like a "B"! haha!

Fireball 60T modified motor puts out real low torque, but not the wheel popping torque. You can really control your tires with this thing and it was only a 20.00 motor. Ill use it for now temporarily as i just pulled the Kyosho MagMayhem out of it cuz it was far to much high end torque, i didnt like it.

still trying to get a Hilux Yota body for this thing?
ive tried to trade x2 touring cars for one, clod axles with Accesories, etc...
Very hard to get one unless you have 100-150.00 to fork out for a Yota bod.

ill get one, just a matter of time....

enjoy.
