your thoughts on rcMart.com
so i've been looking for GPM parts for my 2010 mustang for performance, strength, and less weight (along with better suspension), and was wondering if rcMart really has GPM or if there fake remakes? also, whats your experience with them?
thanks! ~brettley |

i have bought a number of items from rcmart via ebay. never had a bad experience so far from them. takes a little while because of where it comes from, but its not all that terrible.

I just bought knuckles form a company in china and i say there the best ones. There made by GPM but they look like the hotracing ones. The cvd's dod kick back a little but the tires still look good when the body is on.Hotracing kicked the wheels way back and the GPM ones with the 3 screws are to bulky.

if your worried about weight, dont do full gpm. full gpm cars are heavier than stock cars. just do the parts that benefit you the most. everyone has different ideas on what the parts are. my thoughts are gpm cvds (swing shafts), knuckles, and a-arms.
the main thing gpm does is add strength and eliminate some of the slop of stock parts. add bearings into the equation and you have a nice xmod to play around with.

Zippo is right... decide whats important for going GPM... also if you want to run a hot motor with liths and stuff.. the rear motor mount acts as a heat sink for cooling but it is a bit heavier. So think about your build and what is important.
I have used rcmart before, and their aluminum parts (I don't remember if are GPM or not) are perfectly fine. But I use asiatees.com for GPM parts..they have good prices and shipping is pretty reliable and fast.

I just bought a GPM heat sink from there. It took about 10 days to get here, but the price was awesome, and free shipping to boot. I just got two sets of GPM wheel stubs for less than 10.00 with shipping, and a set of GPM 18 spoke aluminum wheels, for all of 8.50 with shipping. Haven't got the wheels or stubs yet, but shouldn't be long.
+1 for rcmart.com |

rcmart
iv purchased GMP parts from them a few times till it took about a month to get here. my first few purchases came in 5 bisness days. And ther're really good with the prices.
no ther're not bootleg or fake parts, they are Official GMP parts. Also, TheToyz are awsome. iv bought GMP parts from them to and i recieved them in 3 days. they have ok prices but my advise to everyone who wants to buy from them is to buy more then one or 2 parts. that way you will get the discount shipping price. its even shows you how much u saved. Last edited by Xmoder92; 04-30-2010 at 04:39 AM.. Reason: iv bought from them. A+++ |
