Yeah could be nice. I would invest in putty and sand paper before doing this type of work. The color is cool, get some putty and smooth it out

you mean King Cab? the body is already a Crew Cab, and a King Cab would be hard, the bed is longer (in front of the rear fender well) to compensate for the shorter cab since they have about the same wheelbase

I think you put a bit too much putty on it. its best to start with small layers and slowly smooth it out. Interesting project though.

Holy crap. I am literally LMAO. that's alot of putty. WOW. don't use so much next time, you'll learn that after you spend 5 weeks sanding that down to where it should be. Cool project though.

Why the heck did you hack up the Gen 1 chassis and put it back together like that? You've just significantly weakened it. I'm pretty sure you could have left the chassis alone and made it work just fine, or mounted it on an EVO car chassis.

And, you hacked up the front bumper and put way too much putty on the truck. Have fun sanding all that off, and you're going to ruin the smoothness of the truck by locating the battery pack to the bed.

You can still fix it, but right now you're headed in the wrong direction.
