Default 6 cell question

I was bored this afternoon, so I went out to radio shack and got a battery holder to do the 6 cell mod. After a first attempt disaster, putting my primary car out of commission for a while, I got it installed on my backup car.

My question is can I use the 6 cell with my pnracing motor?

I'm pretty sure it'll be ok but I wanted to be sure, as I'm down to my last car. I don't want to fry the board or overheat the motor or something.

Thats what I figured.

2 more things I thought of though:

I didn't use heat shrink on the wires, only electrical tape. Will that be ok?

Also, will the s2 metal heatsink be enough? or do I need a new one?

Electrical tape will be fine. About the heatsink yes that will be fine, but with my own theory I dont think the heat sink is anything but dead weight but thats just me.
