Very nice choice of color. It looks very nice.

Cheers,

Here are some pictures of the blemishes. Thankfully, most are just bubbles around edges that I'll have to paint over anyways.

Spray painted the rims flat black

by using the large spur gear you're getting very slow top speed but as long as it doesn't tip over you should be able to climb anything and pull everything. just not very quickly.

it has a very low gear ratio. like when your in 1st gear in a truck you'll be able to tow hevier things than if you were in 3rd or 4th gear.

I like the color choice. It looks nice with those black rims you have on.

Easy way is to just stretch out some tires and put then over the stock tires, so you'd have 2 layers of tires, hence, big tires.

when he says spur gear he means the gear that the pinion or the gear ont he motor meshes on to. In other words the larger the spur or second gear the more torque you get.

Painted trim parts. Badly. Far away, its fine, but I messed up quite a bit :/ Oh well.

Got the rear lights painted since I have transparent red paint... and not transparent orange paint... So the lights aren't done yet. Underneath is some Alclad chrome paint that ran a little. Sooooooo many mess ups :'(

Itty bitty tiny update. I got the orange bits painted... Didn't realize to take pictures... but anyways. Also added some details to the wheels.

As for whats next, my plan so far is:

-Paint front grill
-Buy HS-81
-Shorten chassis to accommodate for 4Runner body
-Buy CF tube to build a driveshaft
-Mount the body

Minor update: Got the grill painted (finally).

Doesn't look so great up close.

Give it some distance, and ahh... a bit better.

I'm still using it now, but I'll be ditching it for the HS-51. Right now the gearbox is just too top heavy and bulky for my liking.

I find the body perfect for a crawler, it looks just right. I think minor messups give it that perfect look. I know I'd rather crawl a decent shaped truck or SUV VS a sparking clean one. Hahah, very nice man, can't wait to see the finished product.
