Default new noob here

hi guys! i'm new to XmodSource but not new to xmods. i have a 2005 mustang and a f-150, the mustang has all wheel drive, R.S bearings 3x3 stacked fets, and S02 motor. but i glued my rear diferensial and broke my dogybones, so i need to upgrade to GMP. in my f-150 i have lift kit,all wheel drive, bearings and body kit, my next project is to try to fit this body on a evo chassis
tell me what you guys think and i hope you like the idea.

welcome to xmod source and i love the truck and the idea of putting it on a evo chassis. i have a toyota land cruiser i put on a evo chassis and set it up for drift. it was easy to put on since its a suv, so if you have problems mounting that body on a chassis cause the bed is in the way just make a bed cover and cut the bed out for more chassis clearence and then you can make the truck have a nice stance. i plan on getting a 1953 Ford F-100 and doing the same thing your doin. again welcome to xmodsource and good luck with the lightning

I love that truck! I can't wait to see some pics of the finished project! Will you be painting it a different color?

I have never heard of that either, I guess it would be three stacks of three FETs, but im not sure. Someone please enlighten me on this, that has done it, because I thought you could go no more than only a 2x3 stacked FET

He means 2x3, I'd imagine. However, there are 4 sets of FETs.

The truck looks great, and for the color choice, silver FTW!!!!

RedSXmodder

DRIFTKO, we posted at same time. You can go as high as you want, as long as it fits under your body, lol. The most I've ever seen is 10.

oh ok, I see, so what would be the advantages of going over a 2x3 stack anyway, I have never heard of anyone stacking any bigger than that?

Its like getting a Nelly, but somewhat cheaper.

Hey, did you know, a Nelly is better than a 2x10 stack of FETs, and a 2x5 stack of modified FETs! Its awesome.

Enough of this, lets stay on topic.
