After months of spy shots and drip-fed teasers Nissan’s all new GT-R super-coupe has been revealed with the early release of the December issue of MotorTrend. The tagline on the magazine’s cover claims the car is as fast as the Porsche 911 Turbo and is priced less than $80,000, confirming rumors the new GT-R will set a new standard in bang-for-your-buck comparisons.


Other details include the GT-R’s acceleration time of 3.5 seconds for the 0-60mph and 11.7 seconds for the quarter mile. Top speed is claimed to be a staggering 192mph.

Although we still don’t have any official details about the car’s new drivetrain, most are expecting to see a 3.8L V6 engine fed by a pair of turbochargers and mated to a dual-clutch gearbox with the latest ATESSA all-wheel drive setup. The car should measure in at 4,650mm in length and 1,920mm across. There’s rumored to be three different flavors of the new GT-R, starting with a 450hp entry-level model and ranging up to a 530hp flagship. This latter version is expected to be a stripped out racer with plenty of carbon-fiber and a track-tuned suspension.

Stay tuned for the flood of official details and images once the car is revealed at next week’s Tokyo Motor Show.

Top Secret's GT-R has stock motor stuff...
I don't have the Magazine, but it was a recent IT magazine, I think.
Something about ANY KIND of mod to the engine voids the warrenty from Nissan, so they just did exterior..

Looks fresh though. I still don't like the grill/headlights though.

In the magazine they were claiming 800hp... I didn't get to read the aricle just flipping through it in line.

Top Secret has quite a few high tuned nissans(and other makes but they don't count). http://www.topsecretjpn.com/jgallery.shtml You can't tell me these are all factory tuned.... voided warranty or not. It looks like they only sell the body mods... On any account it is indeed a fresh look, very exotic(in a good way).

i like how its comeing out in june so ill beable to go look at it while im not in school lol june 23rd correct me if im wrong i saw it somewhere i think it was import tuner that i saw it, pro street article they said something about it comeing out in canada before the states only by a matter of days or a month but still for ONCE we come first lolololol again correct me if im wrong

I would have thought it would get better MPG than that...
Our Burban gets about 14 on Sheetz gas and 15.5 on other.
My bro's envoy gets like 19, that's better than the GT-R.
