Using graphite
I've heard of people using graphite to add to the appearance while painting thier xmod. does anyone know how this turns out and if it's in a good way, how to use it?

well, hpi makes a "graphite decal", thats what i used on my corvette's hood and and trunk lid.
if you mean real graphite, thats what pencil lead is made out of, so maybe you go over body lines with a pencil before you paint to bring them out more. i have honestly never heard of this

what you might wanna do is get a scrap shell that you dont plan on using and put graphite on it before painting and see what it does.
