got enough fog lights on the front? why do you want to lift a 2wd truck up 4" and put 31" tires on it? if you wanna go offroading...take the money you'd spend on the tires and lift and spend it on a winch, b/c you're going to need it =P little extended cab 4 bangers are fun to play with.

bondo being a hypocrit yet once again

I would put too much money into it. Just fix it up a little and do a little mods to it. Not too much.

No offence, but I doubt these are your trucks. There prolly your families vehicles, but I doubt all or even most of them is yours.
Not trying to be mean though.

I totally agree with bondo.

fordman, if you have a job, and a licence, then it might be your truck, but I doubt it.

Just tear it apart, and leave it in the backyard to rust, like alot of others do.

Just guessing, but it looks like its got alot of miles on it, so no 4" lift, or some lil' spinners rims or what ever your talkin' bout, and do not get a new grille, when a truck is old, and has alot of miles, and also looks that way, then you will be putting alot of time and or money into it.

ok, this is MY truck, the ranger would have been mine at the end of the summer becuz my dad said if i worked with him, he would pay me with the ranger. a fellow frend, a police officer has this truck, but it has 252k miles on it so he dont want it to break big and make him pay for all the stuff broken. so he is going to buy a little nissan pick up or another mazda similar to this. he also has his own pressure washing bizness, where he needs a small little truck to fit in tight spots, and this does the trick, but he dont want it tobreak big time, so he is giving it to me. i made a bet with him, cuz first, he was going to sell it to me for really cheap, but he said if i could find him a 2004 isuzu rodeo near where we live, then he would give it to me. i found a 2004 rodeo in sarasota, 50 miles from where i live, and he told me its mine. i have my drivers permit, fyi, so if you dont believe me, then screw you guys, but this is my truck, and the ranger my dads going to drive so he can get better mileage. the 71 bus we have is me and my dads resto project, a father/son project, that i will inherit when he passes. only 1 of the fog lites in the front of the truck work, the american flag plate is going to be replaced with a dixie flag one that says "***-kickin' southern rock!" and i dont like the hieght which is why i want a lift kit, and tires, i have a winch that came off my dads f-150, a warn 100' one, and im possibly going to get a winch bumper for it.. if you dont have anything nice to post, dont post anything. respective critisizm (sp??) i want, tips and things that people think, but not rude @$$ comments like you are saying. why the hell would i tear a perfectly good running truck apart and leave it in my back yard, that makes no sense at all, spinners? i never eben mentioned that, and not all old trucks look bad or beat up, some are in great condition, like the body on this truck has no rust watsoever. further more, its my truck and i can do watever i want with it, not listen to jerkoffs like snowboi telling me to junk it, ya, its a pos, now, but it wont be when i get done with it.

OK, I just finished cleaning up this post. Look, who gives a rats *** if it is or isn't Eric's truck? If he wanted to lie about having a new vehicle why would he post a b2200 with a ladder rack and a big pipe back bumper instead of an old mustang or something. I'm willing to guess that there are more people on here that post cars claiming its there, and it's actually not. Please just look at this post from this perspective. It's a Mazda B2200 project. It's a POS fixer upper, Fordman knows that, I know that, you know that. He just wants opinions and such as to what to do with it...not speculations on whether or not he owns the truck. I don't care if he owns it or not and you shouldn't either. So chill out a bit and if you don't have anything worthwhile to put in this thread then just don't post =)

back on topic...here are some cool stuff i ebayed for it. (ebay is always my first stop for a project)
Euro Tails: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-93...spagenameZWDVW

Engine Rebuild Kit: (Get this first IMO) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...spagenameZWDVW

Chrome Grille: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRILL...spagenameZWDVW

H4 Headlight Conversion : (Got this on my blazer, i love it) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-93...spagenameZWDVW

Since its an old truck with alot of miles, looks like you might have to clean the engine system, I suggest buying this; http://www.zmax.com/products/automotive.html ,

I havent used it yet, but I've had friends use it, and they say its a big help.

Lucas Oil has a buncha stuff that works wonders too. I just put some of their power steering fluid additive in my blazers PSpump and it stopped the leak and the powersteering is quieter than the one on my 07 silverado now.

Nice. My Ranger just putzed out on us today. We probably shouldn't have been pulling fully loaded bailer wagons with a four bangin ranger, lol. Except ours isn't an extended cab, lol...

Later,

eventhough it's an old truck, it looks like it's in great condition from the outside....if it were my truck/project i would definately remove the fog lights in the front and replace them....not bad though....good luck with this....

because decking out a low sitting 2wd truck like a 4x4 is just silly.

Dont spend money lifting that and putting bigger tires on it...

Your going to regret putting any extra money into that unless its to get an oil change or keep it in road worthy condition...
