its not suggested to crash it into walls but if ur lookin to upgrade to gpm anyway then by all means go ahead haha, you could line the walls with some foam for protection
oh yeah and i took my gen 1's off a ramp about an inch tall and ive taken a lifted hummer off a ramp about 6 in high and it was still good

I've made all sorts of ramps for mine. The tallest drop that my evo's taken was from the bathroom counter. It held up. but about 60% of the overall vehicle is gpm. I've found that hitting walls are more detramental than small jumps. I've broken 3 front bumpers in the last 6 months, two hitting a wall and a bookcase. The third broke on a crack in the pavement.
Lining the wall with cardboard or foam does absorb alot of the impact though. |

I atempted to jump my garage. It didnt work too well. But the only thing that broke was the front bumper, right side skirt, and 2 front knuckles. BTW it was an evo with liths and custom motor.

I hit my camera that was on the street at 25+ mph. Knocked the camera silly, but it held better than the xmod... still havent repainted

man I smashed mine front first into a concrete wall and nothing broke just some scrapes, and I also flipped my F150 on the sidewalk and it tore up my truck body good but I have like 4 replacements, so tear em up man thats part of the fun. you get to put them back together.

imo, the gen 1 is built a lot better which means it can take a heavier load. the evo for some reason wasn't built as sturdy, but can take some abuse. i wouldn't recommend testing it, but from what i've done it can handle pretty well. my brother ran over a gen 1 chassis on his bike and it was fine. i dropped an evo chassis from my table about 4 feet up and cracked the spacer, broke the rear right knuckle, and broke the bolt from the cup. figures...
