Exclamation Newbie Needs Help ASAP =/

I got my Xmod the other day, its the Scion tC (no mods). I was trying to get it to drift on my kitchen floor tonight and eventually I noticed the steering wasn't really working. It nudged a little to the left and right barley enough to steer it. (I searched but still didn't find out how to fix it) I read something about resetting the servo but I have no idea how can anyone help me with this?

Also I noticed and I searched a little bit on but my rear tires are so wobbly the are bending inwards when the car is on the ground like /----\ I already notice wear on the tires...any simple way to fix this? I know one of the other threads was talking about it but I still didn't really get it.

Thanks for any help.

a few things. There is a knob/wheel on the back of your remote. It controls how extreme the steering is. Next, the piece under the car that nolds the steering rod in place may be too tight. You can try backing off the screws a bit of waxing/lubing the rod under it.

as for the wobbling. go to RS and buy the bearings. they help.

for the wobly wheels get some berrings like janikphoto said and go to www.atomicmods.com and get aluminum knuckles they help ALOT.and those are the first things to break (you'll see in about 1-2 months) so those help.
as for the steering.pick up you xmod while its still on and on the remote press the little bottons by the antena until the wheels are strait.OR.open up the thing right in front of the battery pack.they thing that looks like it holds the stering rod on.) then take off the steering rod(thing that attached to the knucles.the screw that is closest to the battery pack.) and see if the little thing on the steering rod is over the little white tab.if not put it on there and re assemble.

If you're having trouble with the steering the first thing you should check is the steering radius. The dial at the back of the controller, Maximum is the thightest radius capable by the car. As for the wobble, have you tried putting the stock spacers that come with the evolution chassis in?? I found that using those, even on the gen 1. chassis made a big difference.

Wow I'm an idiot about the steering thing. I took it all apart before I came back on here and everything seemed normal. I forgot I played with the radius range on the controller. As for the bearings I got some more money for christmas so I'll probably get the stage 2, body kit and bearings if they have them.

Thanks guys.

I just got the scion tc also. and i have had xmods for over 3 or 4 years. I dont think the servo is messed up just ajust your knob on the back of your remote all the way to max. and that camber on the front wheel, (camber is this
That is just the bearings. so get the metal bearings from radio shack.

Well I do have another question, I just got the stage 2 and AWD today and installed them, I didn't have money for drift tires or bearings ($20 so they are the next thing) But now that I have it all done it seems like my car isnt as fast or powerful. Could this be the gearing...I put it on 9-23 cause it seemed even but whats better for drifting and speed?

Thanks

try a different gearing, use the chart in your instructions to help you decide what you are looking for!!!

Ah well I guess I'll try a few different ones, but do you need more torque or speed when drifting? Bearing were $20 at a Radioshack in Ohio
