What's the slowest we can go?
Hi,
Weird question maybe but it's a question! :-) I've seen a few video and most of the time the vehicule oes fast and that's fine but since I also want to distract our soon to be 15 months old twins I need to know if it is easy to go slow with the vehicule of if as soon as you press the gas the 1st speed is somewhat fast? Thanks. I wil know next week when I'll get the kit but meanwhile you can inform me if I will be able to do what I wanted to in the 1st place, I mean make the twins runs and try to catch the vehicule. |

if your playing with it i na small area get the 11 tooth pinion since it takes room for it to get speed

it's fully digital proportional....i.e. pull the throttle trigger on the controller a little bit, and it only goes forward a little bit. No modification necessary. Not like many cheap R/C cars where it's all or nothing.
it's perfect for what you want to do. good work to the rest of you for making a simple question more complicated than it has to be |

i recommend if u want to go for a slower but still fairly nice rc, go for the zipzaps. they are small and go a bit slower than the xmods, but still are quite nice.

and no, zipzaps would not work very well, they are not proportional. and probably not fast enough to outrun a 15 month old. |

This time I'm alone doing the move for the XMOD but he seems to be interested... I guess he will change his mind once I got mine. Sure if I was able to impress him with my car going @ 60km/h he would be impressed but not for now. The building here have a smooth surface for over 150 meters long by 20 meters wide. What the typical range we can achieve with that controller and antenna? |
