Default body specifications

can someone tell me a few specs on the gen 1 xmod chassis, i'm thinking of fitting a datsun 510 body from a revell model kit i have onto mine....i'd measure mine but i'm still waiting for it in the mail but wheel to wheel length and width and overall chassis length and width would be greatly appreciated.

it's just gonna be to drive, not race though. What kind of body mods would i need to do to keep the body from flying off and/or the front and rear end panels?

why the heck do you need the numbers? you get the body, measure it for yourself, if they don't match you modify the wheelbase or the body so that it fits the chassis.

for the record, xmod wheelbase lengths are 86 (S), 90 (M), and 94 (L) millimeters respectively. standard track width is ~67mm from edge to edge of the wheels.

you'll need a custom front clip, a slot in the body to hold said clip, and then some mounting system to hold the rear end in place. here creativity is the key, i've seen velcro, custom mounts for rear clips, and molds made out of putty or dried glue.

im puttin the 510 on my civic chassis. mine is a old pete brock edition (the brock buster) nice kit but mine has lots missin and the body is flawed badly

oh ya its a close fit but it'll fit longer chassis!might even have to shorten 510
