raising/lowering chassis...
hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone knew how much the race suspension tuning upgrade (rasing/lowering shock mounts) actually raise/lower the evo chasis? is it noticable? i only ask b/c my underglow battery clip scrapes the floor BAAAD with my drift tires on, and i'd like to atleast raise the back of the chasis off the floor a little...
thanx guys! |

SPR has raised his Subaru using longer screws, and cutting car springs in half, adn putting them in between the knuckle, and top shock mount. i did somethign similar using the new Xmods Street screws that connect the tierod ot the knuckles, and my car sits pretty darn high. of course i was going for the rally look, but if you want that try it out. but if you want it to droft, the lower the better. you could also sand down the bottom of your car to get it to not scrape. or just use stock truck screws instead of the ones you have. or another option, if you dont want the rear shock mount to rivot, you could cut that part out, and just screw it right into the rear diff case. it lifts up the rear of the car but it doesnt pivot.

i kinda like the rear shock mount to pivot(only when drifting) but even with that shock mount locked down the underglow still scrapes with my drift tires...i hope that the raising rear shock mount will raise it just enough to get the underglow off the ground...
