Default acerpower's daily driver

this won't be the most custom or unique project. no bright or metallic colors, no flames or graphics, and especially no body kits. this will just be loose replica of my 1/1 daily driver.
my ford f150

as you can see, nothing fancy. just a plain white truck.
i have my old evo truck that was originally the nisan titan that had li-ions and a nelly. it was basically my dogs toy, i would take it to the parking lot across the street and let my dog chase it. so this thing has gone through hell and i'm going to give it a new life.
here it is with a new f150 body

not a good pic but i'll use the good camera when it really matters.
i'm not going to extend the bed on the xmod to match my long bed on the truck. it's a minor detail and i don't feel it will be worth the effort.
this truck will receive the 4x4 kit and a revell rpmz pcb upgrade.
also will add bearings but i'm not doing any speed enhancements, i'm ditching the lithium-ions and running the 4 aaa again.
of coarse the rims in the pic have to go as well but, i have some that look a little closer to the real thing.
when i'm done it will never look exactly like the real thing but at least it will be white.

well, my real f150 don't have a fruity orange and gray chassis so neither does my xmod.
actually, it's still a little gray but no more orange! i still should paint the body clip flat black.
4x4 kit and bearings were installed.

it's just paint.
i might get some aluminum knuckles but that's about it on this one.
it's being built from parts i already have, and bought on clearance. i'd rather not spend any money on it.

i used some springs from pens on this truck. i got them from the dollar store and they were stiffer than the stock ones.

thanks for all the compliments.
i recently had surgery on my leg and i have a cast on up to my knee right now so, painting this thing has been a little slow, that's why i haven't gotten to the body yet. but, seeing people are showing interest in this project is giving me some motivation. i'll try to get some body work done this weekend and hopefully some paint, weather permitting. at least i should have the pcb installed.

thanks.
i broke a bone years ago and it didn't heal right so they basically had to re-brake it and straighten things out. i got a few plates and some screws in there now to hold it all together. i should be up and walking in about 4 weeks now.
