Two Saleen's and a Benz

Just finished tweaking all the cars and decided to post pictures. The benz came as a gift from spitfire and now I can show him the car has been well cared for. The silver saleen s7 is the most recent and still has a lot to be done but is half way there but I decided to enter it in this months cotm. The yellow saleen has gone through a lot of changes but I am happy with the final look of it. Just need a triple fet stack and a hotter motor. Thanks to Action B for the stack on the silver saleen and thanks to XMDrifter for the motor in the same car. The benz has a double stack and a speedy motor in it that I had to replace the magnets in it with neo mags but has a bunch of punch now. All c&c welcome.

Those are beautiful cars. My only suggestion is changing (or even repainting) the wheels on the silver Saleen. Rims similar to the yellow one would suit it quite nicely imo

I just got another pair of those rims so I am debating if I want to put them on the silver saleen. I do want the rims on it to be another color but have not had time to strip them down. I will post any changes to the cars here as they come.

Nice, you Saleen junkie! Do you still have that black body? I like that they're all equipped with a LiPo. That's probably the biggest bang for your money in any electric RC.

Which black body? The model r8? If that is the one then no, XMDrifter got that one and I actually have 9 cars with lipo now. And I still want either a blue or black saleen but they are really hard to find now.

I may put the last set on the car but I am just thinking about stripping the red color off the rims. But those rims are a good match for it.

The Saleen S7 boies that most people use are from iWaver bodies, another micro RC car that's comparable to a mini Z. Fitting the S7 body on an xmod chassis requires fabricating a front clip to fit onto the xmod and catch into the bumper clip on the S7, and gluing in a rear clip to the back.

so if you are able to fab the clips, etc. you could fit just about any 1:28th scale body to an xmod? if so then there are a ton of bodies available.
