It's been cold as heck here in Pittsburgh, but the ground isn't cold enough for the snow to stay. B1G, where in PA do you live?

It's only the seventh of January. Most places don't see "winter" until end of January and during the month of February. At least that's how I feel it is here in Michigan.

Either way, I hate winter. Currently we only have a dusting of snow here in southern Michigan, as well as there's like a good sheet of ice everywhere.. Bah.. Lol.

Texas is retarded with its 80+ dropping to 40 degrees within a hour or two. :/

Not really. It's pretty normal. Ok during the day, then freezing as hell during the night. Maybe a little more rain than usual, but it's all normal here in NorCal.

strangest thing ever happened today. i was in math, looking out the window. it was raining, but all of a sudden one single hailstone came down onto the trailer next to me and bounced off. it was about as big as a golf ball and melted before i got to it. maybe it was one of those ice metiorite things, but then it would've peirced the trailer. i know for a fact i saw it, but there is no logical explanation. does anyone know anything about what could've happened?

the last few days here in GA have been in the mid 60's and sunny. I have been a out on the mountain bike again. Then yesterday we had crazy amounts of rain that flooded several areas and now today I went for a job and it was 46 outside.... The temps are just back and forth this winter.

I remember last year about this time I was testing a part on my Jeep and I remember I had to take a break every 5 minutes because my hands were so cold I couldn't feel the bolts. That and the water I had to spray on the underside of the Jeep had frozen on the frame...

the good news is that we have a better chance of snow this year than last, and since we (at least me) got snow last year, we shouyld have enough to put people out of school and work. hopefully.

Meh, it's texas. It's perfect weather right now. 40s-50s in the morning, 60s-70s during the day.

Since it never snows in south TX, a cold day is just useless and depressing. Rainy cold days even more so.

Or maybe Al Gore was right?

No, no no no... I must be crazy.

Wade, we had an ice storm a year ago here in Michigan. Love em:

Here's out weather forecast, quoting the "all-mighty-weatherman!"
Quote:
*points to map with colors showing what county will receive what amount of snow*
"As you can see," says the weatherman, "Detroit will be getting around six to seven inches of snow Friday evening. The surrounding suburbs will receive anywhere from five inches to eight inches of snow. We would show you on radar, but the storm hasn't shown up on radar yet. We'll keep you posted."
I'm not sh!tt!ng you. That was just on Channel Four about ten minutes ago. I "lmfao'd" for a good minute and a half. Wonder how long it took them to make up that one. xD
