Default what makes a good street xmod?

hey everyone, about a year ago all my xmods got messed up and i didnt have the money to fix them. because i was spending it all on bmx but anyway my local radio shack has really cheap starter kits so im going to start new. its going to be set up for mainly street use. i already have my red and black gtr body, gpm shocks front and rear, atomic stock awd motor, gpm wheels, and radio shack rechargeables. i plan to get a new starter kit, V2.2 Regulated Power Board because my solder skills are good but i dont feel confident stacking fets, Atomic MO-006 Stock R Evolution Motor because it seems more easy to control than the atomic chili and in case i want to do some track too. and some AtomicMods SuperFlex 18 Wire. im not sure on which gpm parts would be most important but i was thinking at least the GPM DXME100R XMOD Evo Car SuperDuty Ball Differential Assembly - Rear. oh, and bearings, the $20 kit. can someone recomend some more must have gpm? im trying to keep the whole order under $200. and should i go awd? thanks for good answers and sorry for the big block of text

Must have GPM: Dogbones and knuckles. From my experience, dogbones break like twigs when you're running a lot of power, and I've heard, and have had some knuckles break one me so GPM knuckles are another good thing to have.

I stay stock w/ locked rears. I messed around with the suspension so that the chassis sits high and doesn't scrape the ground at all. Stack tires and let her run around outside. That is if you just wanna mess around without damaging the car. I use a spare Lancer body that I accidentally stepped on. I hop curbs and no small rocks get in my way. Chassy still good condition. Cept for it's dirty cause I like to drive in dirt. xD

Good luckk.

This is what i did to mine here is the list.

Mini z MA-010 2.4 board

AWD
2 different size bearings
susp. kit
carbonfiber shaft

GPM parts.

Front knuckles
rear arms
F&R cvd shaved to fit MA-010 rims
moter heat sink
F&R shock towers

Hotracing parts
Rear knuckles

Then the fun part took the whole car apart and shaved and sanded all the parts to make the steering tighter and the chassis sit straight. Then dye the green parts black.Waiting on shocks and ball diffs.

Yeah, I believe the 08 GTRs run the L drives, if I'm not mistaken. I remember something like that in the AWD kit directions.

Here ya go, http://www.atomicmods.com/Categories...atibility.aspx
