Thumbs up The P.I.T. Manuever

If you watch a lot of police pursuit shows, like World's Wildest Police Videos or Very Best Of The World's Worst Drivers 1 (or 2), then you've seen how the police in their Crown Vics precisely just tap the opposing vehicle, whether it be someone just running from a ticket, to a person who just murdered the elderly lady across the street for all of her money, and the opposing car does a 180, it kills the motor, and the pursuit (usually) is over. Well, there are many ways to use this technique out with your friends (not with real cars) but with XMods. Here are three ways to use it against your friends:

1. While your friend is drifting around a corner (maybe he read my tutorial on that, heh heh) you can just barely tap him and because drifting is such a delicate precidure, he'll spin out really really easily.

2. Use it when your friend comes flying past because his/her XMod is faster than your. Sure, they'll probally get mad, but who cares, you won the race, right?

3. I can't think of another way

Well, I'll bet by now you're wondering, "Why is this in the how-to section? Hmm... maybe hes spammin..." but that is totally incorrect. I WILL show you how to do the P.I.T. manuever and you WILL see how easily it is performed, and you WILL use it against the opposition at any given moment or time, no matter the track conditions... OK? And if you keep reading, you'll see how this ties into drifting, too.

The Tutorial:

There are five steps to correctly pulling off the P.I.T. manuever. Heres step number one:

1. Get pretty close to your opponent but don't get right up next to him.

2. Now then, edge EVER so closley to them, with out colliding with them.

3. You should now initiate the P.I.T. manuever. And to do that, you must press your front tire against his rear tire.

4. Before they have the chance to get away, twist your steering to full lock and shove him out of the way.

If you've done this correctly, they should be spinning out of control.

5. Since they will spin right out into your path, turn the steering back to about 50% (full lock=100%) and sway clear of their car.

Once this is complete, point and fire down the straight.

Well, now another one of my racing secrets is out. But heres a helpful hint: If you find your opponent trying to use this against you, turn keep your tires to pointe them straight ahead inbetween the steps three and four. That way, their plan will backfire and if they have really slick tires on, you may even be able to shove them out of the way with this!
Just like I said above, I would tie this into drifting somehow. Well, just like I said up above this, just tap your opponents rear quarter-panel when they are drifting, and they will spin out. Even I can't very easily recover from that. Well, thats not saying very much considering that I'm not the best at drifting.
I hope that this helped you out even more.

And please, don't start any flame wars about this. Thanks

Possibly another sticky.... I sure hope so

Smile Heh heh

Thanks, I was just thinking of the P.I.T. manuever one day and I though "Hmm.... maybe I could make a tuturial on that. It would be sweet!" Oh, and did you notice how much better the "Your car or XMod" looks than the "Another car or XMod"? Heh, just thought I throw that in. And this is out to Made In China, so YOU'RE the first visitor to my site, huh? Sweet. I guess I'll try and think up of some good tutorials about stuff you can do to jack your friend of the pole position. Well darn, I guess that means I'll have to watch more T.V., huh? lol, always glad to help and make easier things seem easier.

*COMMENT*: It's much easier to do this to another XMod that is RWD. It's pretty tricky (if they even sorta know what they're doing) if they have AWD, and it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE if they have a FWD drive car (and they sorta know what they're doing). Just thought I'd shoot that at ya, and this is one comment you want to dodge. Very helpful, if you even sorta know what your reading. (heh, see how I used that comment to tie in with the beggining of the paragraph? Thats called a Closer. Yep, I auctually pay attention in English class. Well, most of the time anyway.)

It is really called a t-bone tailspin or a P.I.T. I watch Spike alot with disorderly conduct with the onboard camera's on the police cars if I am posting to much just tell me and I stop or just slow it down which ever way.

Yup, I'll make a video. Once I get a video camera, which'll probally be a long while. Maybe I'll get one for christmas, but I doubt it. Unless one of you are kind enough to send me one for free! But I'm not counting on that. And by the way, it's also called a fishtail. Just for the thought
