SOME ENGINE WORK? WOOF! It actualy looks pretty bad. But on the upside it looks to be the original engine and I say that cause of the oil fill breather being in the front rather then on the valve cover.
Year One is an AWESOME place for helping rebuild it. I used them for all my rebuilds. Rebuild list includes 1972, 1975, 1980 Trans Am's, 1968, 1974, 1976, 1979, 1980 Camaros, 1972, 1974, 1976, 1977 Monte Carlos. If you need any help just ask. |

**** dude 5 grand is soooooo worth it!
just a pointer though, if ur gonna do any mods to the interior such as aftermarket speakers in the doors, buy new door panels. my stepdad had a yellow with black racing stripes 69 camaro numbers matching 327. he sold it to some ******* that tore apart the original "houndstooth" interior to put aftermarket crap in it and its never gonna be worth as much as it would if he didnt tear it apart. as of the engine, if ur just lookin for a cruiser or a decent show car keep the original and just make it look and run nice if u want something fast, buy an engine and tranny combo from somewhere else so you dont screw up the original engine and therefore if you ever need to sell the car youll get more for a numbers matching car that runs beautifully than if you blow the original motor or trans. definitely keep us posted as you go along... in my opinion 69 was the best year for camaro, although i love the 72 split bumbers and the 87 style IROC-Z's
