Default I got a propulse!!!!!!!!!

Today i had some money, so i went to Rs and bought a propulse Buggy. Its super nice, but the charge time is 10 hours But everything else about it rocks. THe shocks are smooth and have great dampers, the chassis is a little on the weak side in some places. I cant wait to drive it!!!! the controler looks really good. I love my propulse (maybe more then all my xmods)

good luck....every1 i know that has 1 regrets buying it. you couldve gotten a true hobby grade RTR RC for roughly the same as you spent on the propulse. not to mention the price on the propulse upgrades are ridiculous.

take it back while you still have a chance.

Its the AEfiles that are jumping on the propulse. Read the links Ive provided...

The reason the truck doesnt break the towers like the Buggies seem prone to, is because the body covers and protects the towers

I have a AE RC18MT and i will assure you they are built.

I have only broken my front shock tower once and its because i jumped the thing off the roof of a Chevy Astro van in 40 degree weather so the plastic was brittle.

I'm not bashing the pro pulse but i'm sorry a AE is so much better. The after market is not only huge but affordable too. They run oil filled shocks and reliable electronics. The pro pulse upgrades are not cheaper and in most cases more expensive than the AE equivalent. It's your money and you choose to spend it how you want, but if you were looking for a hobby grade pro pulse was not the way you go. The only good thing i have heard about it is that the plastics are so cheap that they bend when under stress like in a high-speed collision and im sure thats only at a perfect temperature.

omg i love driving my buggy. Im carefull with it so i dont think ill brake the tower, but i have had some high speed roll overs. the only thing i really hate is the battery life... 10 hour charge and it only gets about 20 mins or less of run time on full speed with the stock motor, and i even have the good batterys. The car is a blast to drive, it flys faster then any rc i have ever owned or seen in person. i love it, just the parts are alot, but my birthday is in 8 days so hopefully i get some parts! I still like my xmod though, ill never leave them. Final thought, Xmod = fun to customize Pro Pulse = fun to drive, neither is worse neither is better they are both different.

Mind you, mine has hit many things

Car tires
into storm drains (6 food drop mind you, onto concrete)
Ramps
Curbs
Small children
Walls

All ive broken as a result of crashes is the bumpers. The onlything else that broke is the drive shaft pinion gears, but thats from loads of abuse with full speed, full brake stops on concrete almost all the time (lots of kids chased it haha)

I ran mine into my foot at full speed just to see how much it hurt. I just had a pair of Nike Shox on and man did it hurt!

i know how much it hurts, i hit my foot at full speed too. my dad crashed my propulse today into a curb and it only bent the bumber a little. Can the pinion really break from full speed stops?

There is NO difference between them. The only difference is the tires, and the trucks have wider V-treads while the buggies have some skinny studded tires. The ride height is adjustable with the shock clips.

As for the pinions, it was a over month of alotta full speed, full brake stops on concrete before they started breaking.
