Default Aluminum Wheels ?

a friend of mine in Norwich Connecticut called me up last night to tell me he was holding a set of aluminum wheels for xmods. of course i didn't believe him and then i told him he had the new hot rod kit in his hands(the 1 w/ the brake discs), but he insisted that they were aluminum, he said they were a bit heavier than all the other wheel sets and he even gave me a price $16. does anyone hav any info on this , i just went to rs's website and i didn't see anything that i havn't already, so please inform me. i'm sure i'm not the onlyone wondering anywayz.
THANX in Advance

ok.. heres the scoop

the hot rod kit is plastic. VERY SHINEY PLASTIC!!! there is an alluminum set... but they look similar to the hot rod ones. the alluminum is a better choice tho, because you dont kill ur wheels everytime you try to drift.,..

i think only ebay becuase the rumor about to alluminum rims on ebay is that a guy who worked at the radioshack warehouse grabbed a couple becuase they arent sapossed to be released till spring (according to my buddy at radioshack)
im not sure if this is all true, but i sure hope they bring the price down
25.00 for rims is not cool

Default ugllly

the rims are ****ing ugly!

Edit: There is a drift kit so you don't ruin your rims when you drift. taking your tires off makes you do donuts.

I'm from Philadelphia Pa. and I've seen the aluminum rims. They're nothing spectacular, diecast not machined. Not worth 25 dollars
