Actually, if you read on, a few of them have pretty good things to say about em. Everybody's got an opinion and you can't expect the world to like what we like. A lot of those guys are 1/10th scale or larger. They are used to that level of performance. To them, the xmod is merely a toy.

Screw them. If they hate them, that's fine. I hope some of those guys don't try to race my xmod for money...

No, they are very experienced with R/Cs. Everyone has their own opinion. I feel that xmods could be improved in some ways, but won't be.

The sad thing is, compared to some of the other 24th and 28th scale cars on the market (Mini-Zs, Iwavers, etc), Xmods really are weak. It was a nice design concept on RadioShack's part, but they leave a lot to be desired. Way too much play in suspension components, crappy steering, mediocre electronics..

I've owned 3 XMods. I can speak honestly when I say that the XMods leave much to be desired.

Now this I seriously doubt. Most Nitro cars are breaking 50+ miles per hour straight out of hte box. Most tuned race machines are in the 75-80 mile per hour range.

those retards really need 2 shut their faces. maybe xmods are way smaller than the nitro cars, but for xmods size they are very fast. and they keep going on about how "expensive" xmods are when nitro cars cost wwwwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy more than any stock xmod. so yeah i reaaly am p***** off @ tose f@g$.

yeh the ntros are sick no doubt but the xmods are great value and are great for ppl that dont have time to go to a track and setup there crew and race like with nitros. xmods you can race on your street and in your house.

........plus with niros you have to replace parts ALL the time, and hav to have fuel.

Everything sucks to someone who thinks they have something better. And I believe Vipers XMOD can take a nitro car. With an electric car there is zero acceleration lag, in a measured distance my money is on the man from Jersey.

I have a mildly modified Ford Focus, to some it's a 4-door grocery getter, to others who have had their hats handed to them in a light-tolight contest, it's a car not to be under estimated. I had a kid in a hot Civic tell me that he'd give me 4 lengths and second chance. I told him he better not miss a shift. In a 3/8ths mile light-to-light race I had him by 20 and we started heads up. My "sucky *** Focus" is now "Dude, that's bad ***." Moral of the story: Love what you got, but don't hate what you don't.
