Default Drift Tires

Yah I bought the Drift Kit for the Xmod and I realized that unless you have the Awd kit also it is a waste but after I went Awd I was doing some pretty nice control slides so unless you have the awd or are going to get it also I wouldnt waste my money on the drift kit just a head up

Yah probably so. I do like the rims and I learned that you can get the rubber tires to fit over the drift wheels and they stay on good so that way you can use them just as rims if you want

good question my guess would be style, length of drift, control or maybe just crowd cheer vote?

Well, the way the 1:1 cars do it is with a panel of judges, so kind of like the Olympics.

oh I didnt understand the question hehe.. I would guess scoring would be based on the quality and how long the drift last's you know like on nfsu2

That and the drag races are the only things I can win in SFSU2, but it you put grippy tires (a scientific term) on the front and hard tires on the back you can get some awesome slides and great drifts.

thats a good idea I was wondering on how the tire physics worked as far as the different combinations of hard and soft vs tread or slick. I only hve the stock slicks and the drifting ones so far havent had a chance to get the others and try them

Soak a pair of slicks in alcohol for about 5 minues then rub them dry in your hands. They get really sticky, you can use masking tape to remove any lint during racing if you start to lose traction, just run the tires on the sticky side of the tape reversed on the roll and off you go (old slot car trick). This works really good on the RS tracks.

what about hard wood floors? The tracks we use are made out of pvc with the hard wood floor as the surface. Its like anytime I gas my car it just spins around the turns unless I release the throttle.
