Default Project JK Redeux

It's back.

Specifications:
  • Axial SCX10
  • New Bright Wrangler Body
  • Novak Havok 8.5T Brushless
  • DX6

What I have so far:

Only need the SCX10, which I already got a confirmation # for it, so early next week it should be here.

It is 1/10 scale (body is 1/8). It will be built on this chassis:

Yea, it is actually an AX 10 but with 1.9 tires, scale chassis, etc. Great bang for the buck.

Oh man, words cannot describe the awesomeness of Spectrum, and no glitches. Also, 6 channels is crazy, since I only use 2, for now.

It actually is a bit harder since there are more screws. More tiring really.

I ran it in the air to see if everything worked, and it looks and sounds fast.

oh i see. how much did it set you back? some better designs now they eliminate the rear wheel steer with the solid part. shocks look pretty cool also. but i think for a bit more flex changing the springs out for softer ones i plan on doing that with my ax10 since flex on it is kinda hard to achieve full flex. but great progress none the less. but the jeep is not my kinda body i would've put an old woody body on there.

love it... you should find a untraveled trail and make a vid there in the summer that would look great. Have you found a way to mount the body on there? also you should see if you could make a exo-cage then that thing is set.

I have to lengthen the wheelbase by ~1.5" to get the wheelbase right for the Jeep. It is pretty fun so far. Very fast.
