I searched around and found some tires on a pull-back monster truck toy.....I don't know if they would work or even if they would be big enough.....but I destroyed the toy and here they are....

Oh and BTW, they are not hard plastic, they are rubber. They are kind of soft too...

How big are the aoshima super swampers? Maybe if you could compare there to the evo car wheel size that would help me out...

The tires I have atm, are a lot bigger than the evo car tires as you can see in the picture, but then again since I do not have a truck as of yet, I can not really tell.

If someone has a pic.....maybe you can help me out here.

Yea that is true....be hard to find a plastic model bus...

I could just raise the body to an epic height over the gear box, but that might look odd. I am watching a few trucks right now, and I might get one in a few days. So then I can really start. Its just good to have it all planned out.

I gotta mount my custom LEDs in my barricade....and I am saving my 6 cell upgrade for the truck. I need to go to hobby lobby to look at model kits as well.

Two guys in my head are in a battle over a Pajero or something else. I want it to be able to articulate, but I so want it to be covered cause I don't like the look of it sticking out. I guess it wouldn't hurt to bad to scape the sides a bit...but then again i don't know.

Look at my Pajero. It has space for a gearbox. And it would look cool. Or don't make it articulate more than needed.

Your pajero is also a lot bigger.

I'll work it out somehow. I want big wheels though....big wheels.

Really? Don't you have an xtruck aero? Compare the wheel size to a penny, and I'll take a pic of the big ones by a penny....maybe that will give me an idea...

Hope I can find a penny.

Here is a side by side comparison.

No X truck anymore. Only the Pajero.
And yes, they are pretty big wheels.

I have decided to just make an offroader for now, instead of a crawler. That way I can use a pajero body without worrying about the gearbox scraping the sides. I can always put a gearbox on though if i change my mind.

I'm going for the radline motor, and gonna get some neo mags to put in it, so it should work even better. As for wheels, I got some now, I just have to modify them to fit the truck. Do I need the off-road kit, or can I raise the truck another way?? I haven't found one yet...I need to get a hold of one...
