Default My Camaro Muscle Car

Hey guys, I did a blower using a tutorial from Atomicmods and I just got it installed on my Camaro. Here's the pics:

Here's the Blower - it has a functional belt pully on it which spins when the throttle is pressed.

Here's the Caramo with the blower installed.

I'll switch the chasis later with another Gen1 fitted with 6 cells - it's a muscle car now so it most function like one - lol

I made this one using a blower from another model.

@librarianlism - it's from a 1/24 model and as you may know xmods are 1/28 so it's a little bigger but it's a visual upgrade so it's pretty much the closest scale blower I could installed on the Camaro.

EDIT: Thanks for the compliments guys!

I'll have to lower it about 2mm - just enough to see half of the pulley, I just have to do a small mod on the hood then i'll take a short video clip of how it looks when in function.

nice mod. i agree that it is a bit big, but not so bad that it kills the car's looks. Cool mod... The car has a rear nice look to it. You are doing some good work!!!

i think maybe it was having it up as high as you do is what throws it off for me... i think when you lower it your blower setup will look great...

Default Updated pics and short video clip(3/28/07)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions also guys - I did lower it a little and I also painted the hood black plus I have a short video clip of it also

Here's the updated pics :

Here's the video clip:
http://s142.photobucket.com/albums/r...t=S5301572.flv
I had the rear lifted so that you guys can see when the throttle is pressed the pulley spins. Just a nice visual upgrade - mainly for looks and style! 8)

@ Supershelby - If I can find more of these little blowers I could be able to make them to sell since it only took my about an hour to make.
@mustanglover - it's the actually pulley from the kit - i just cut off the rest of it and smoothed it out - then I painted it to look more or less how it should look like.

Totally sick! But add some metal bearings or shims to stop that rear wheel wobble! :-) Then it will be one kick *** muscle car!!
