Default need help........ car wont start

hey wassup peoplez, i got a real serious prob... my car wont start at all but the batteries get mADD hoT and the springs in the battery holders turn red cuz of the heat, the car wont start but the batteries get hot??? anybody know why????

yo if ur serious bout the batt's wires getting red hotu do hav a serious prob, bring ur car in 2morrow

it sound to me like you need to get a new set of electronics
thats strange
never heard of that happening to anyone before but i guess that there is a first time for everything

i dont think i can return it cuz all of the modifications i did on it, i just bought some resistors/inductors to fix it too!! oh wellz, i thought i might need to buy a new set of electronics or somethin, i dunnoz , thanks for ya advice

my stupid *** ni cad batteries did that to my 350! but after I take em out and put em back in, they're ok P>S> dont get the freakin ni cads :x

The way NiCd batteries work, the chemical reaction taking place likely releases a fair bit of heat. I'd imagine under continuously high discharge circumstances (Racing conditions, etc), it'd be very possible to reach dangerously high temperatures. However, the battery would probably either explode or melt the plastic battery holder first

short circut is enoguh to blow your bateries, your car, or something else. For the effect, put 120 Volts into a 3 volt capititorr.What happens???

My 6 cells used to get extremely hot (probably because they were over the heatsink and got no air), so I mounted them in the bumper. The batteries stay a lot cooler. BTW, return the crappy xmod batteries and buy a set of Rayovac IC3s. They charge in 15 minutes, and are just plain amazing. I use the AAs in my CD player, and the runtime is amazing!

hey check ur wirers under ur motor and by the batts. if one is riped ur screwed son u need to get new electronics man
