thanks for the welcomes. Well heres some cell phone pics of my lancer. Just body kit, awd, and deep dish rear wheels. I want to paint the wheels white, lower the body, and pick up some drift wheels eventually. I was planning on getting some mini-z drift tires, any other suggestions for drift tire options?

Welcome. The deep dish rims look nice, white may look better like you were saying.

yup, white looks better. I just lowered, painted wheels and added a little lip to the front wheels.

end results

*sniff* I miss the Evo. Nice job on the rims, they look nice. For the drift wheels, you can buy these: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=ato....c0.m270.l1313

You'll have to get rid of the part on the wheel that holds the stock tires on. They should fit real good. Wide unless you got rims from the RS drift kit.

thanks. I should have ordered from that user. I ordered tires on ebay off a guy in japan, so its probally gonna take a while. I went with the 11mm opposed to the 8mm, does it really make a difference?

If you went 8mm it wouldn't cover the whole wheel, I could be wrong.

so i just got the mini z drift tires on. heres some info. The 11mm was a little big width wise, not that bad though, so im guessing the 8mm would be perfect. The diameter was too small to fit xmods wheels, so i had to dremel the inside of the tire a bit to fit the wheels. Well these tires are way more slippery compared to the radio shack drift tires and i like it that way. I am happy with my purchase

Assuming you drift decently w/ RS drift tires. How much better is it with the Mini Z tires?

I haven't got to ordering them for my Skyline yet. But planning on just saving for an MA-010.

the only problem i really had with the rs drift tires was that i found them a little too grippy... as crazy as it seems. The mini z drift tires provided the lack of grip that i like. Ill post a vid if i have the time
