*UPDATE* well as i was thinking on how i was going to do the wide body kit, i went back to my original idea(although not stated) of using the wide body kit from the 350z..i have it on the car using hot glue of course so i'll let you enjoy the pics....








i'm going to do more body work tonight with the putty and fill in the open areas...so what do ya think???

i think the gunmetal gray would look better with those 5 spoke wheels and the body kit

i don't own a pair...but i'm probably going to use the gt-r wheels or even the wheels i got that were on an rsx that i got from "THE EDJ"

i think dark grey or black deep dish wheels would work best here. the WBK is pretty wide, so you'll need quite some offset to match the width.

Coming together really well my friend. I'm looking forward to the finished product. I'm really into Skyline's, but would have to say Silvia's are my second or third favorite tuner. I like how you got all the body pieces to match up very well. Makes me wanna tear apart my Mini-Z GT-R and do some customizing. But I think I'll wait until I get a replacement body first. Don't wanna screw up my only body, lol.

thanx...the reason for customizing this one is because i have an evo x on my mini-z and i've seen custom silvia's before and i wanted one of my own even if i can't afford the real car.

i think it is coming out to be a nice car and the wide body
kit makes it look nice just sand the high spots on the body down before you put more on it helps

well i filled in the open spots on the bodykit last night and will continue tonight with the sanding...so more pics to follow either tonight or tomorrow..thanx for looking and the compliments...

BUMP....i'm going to have pics up tonight of some progress that i have done to the car...i'm doing some new work on the front and rear bumpers...found a set up that i really like...

your answer would be found on the first page...but i am going for the all smooth look, like the nascar cars...no doors or anything....










the car with the blue headlights is an actual silvia model car that i have, and that is the look i am going for on the front bumper...and the 350z rear bumper is the look i am going for on the rear bumper...

what do you all think????

You have inspired me to do a body project. Now I have 2 projects to do on my list, a crawler, and a wide body car.

Love it so far, keep up the good work. The front bumper styrene box thing, just a little more putty and it will look 100% part of the BK.
