haha you didnt find another cuz thats the same car lol thats just the sedan version! haha well with that said its a

1996 volvo 850 turbo estate

did it in memory of our fisrt volvo a 2000 volvo v70, Grantit its not the same exact model name the car is virtually the same. The models paint is a meticalic red our car was tan.. This car was involved in an accident over too years ago with my sister driving and her friend shotgun.

If you didnt hear the story before here it is.

She was on her way home from work one night around ten. It was pooring rain. She was on main street and a very slight curve. In the on comming lane was a purple oldsmobile alero. He crossed over the hit her a few more inches over it would have been alot worse. This first impact wrecked the cars driverside drivetr4aincauseing the car to carrine into the curb with enough force to snap the front axel and the cars eintire body. if the curb wasnt there she would have kept going into the lake thanks god. the cop at the seen said that the car saved her life if it had been a smaller car and they had not been both seat belted in the coulda been catiostophic, he credited the car saying it saved there lives.. and so i thought it deservied a little tribute!

heres some pictures i found.

thats the front wheels brake ect. assembly next to the car at the tow yard

Airbags deployed and everything

Hereswhat happened to the body. You can see the crimkled roof and the door which couldnt be opened.

hit so hjard it knocked the parking light out the other side haha

but in the end it got us my new baby 2001 volvo s80 t6 (which is alot faster haha)

thats my story time for the day lol

that was my baby. hit a pole sliding on leaves and wet road. the motor and trans and all aftermarket parts are on my car now since they're the same chassis.

got banged up, burn on face and arm...

seatbelt and airbags saved my life though. someone a week before my crash had done the same thing as i did (its a horrible corner) but missed the pole and didn't have their belt on...ended up going into the ditch, flipping the car and dying. oops.

having my car now though, in it's mostly unmolested form (i'm the 3rd owner and first one under 40 lol) is nice. the probe was ghetto...had push button start and more wiring issues from the previous ricer owner.

last time i tried messing with wires is when i did my swap...forgot a ground strap and ended up electrocuting myself and almost burnt up every ground in the car...whoops!

at least my electrical issues in my old car were completely the previous owners fault and not the factorys *coughVW'scough*
