Default F100 project. Expendables '55 F100

got bored and decided to make the Expendables' 1955 Ford F100 as close as i can, just waiting on my brothers to give me the extension piece from their xmod pickup so i don't have to trim out the body. knew i should have gotten the truck instead of the h2....
pics so far:

can't forget the steering wheel

going to fit the battery pack in the bed of the truck. debating on sticking with the stock battery setup or running a 9v

painting done except for the hood intakes. going to just paint on silver circles instead of tapping them out

projected final look

not shown: modded the stock front suspension plate so it sits lower than the lowering kit so the truck isn't insanely high

i was thinking of using a car chassis too but the f100 body is a bit long to pull that off without modding the chassis.
here it is on the h2 chassis

more pics

painted on the intakes

flattened the underside

and here is the suspension platform i spoke about having modded earlier

absolutely no play and just about kissing the ground

for longer bodies...all you have to do is add a few chassis spacers...

got the extension

rear chassis connector in place. take 1

not happy with the rear stance. going to use the model trucks cat as a mount spacer instead of the muffler

looks like you might need 1 more extension piece...or shorten the bed...so the wheel wells line up correctly...
