Question F-150 stock 6-cell help.

Hey all im new to these xmods but im preety expireineced with hobby class cars and i know some electronics. My queston is can i put 6 radioshack rechargable NickelmetalHydrate Bateries on my stock 150? All i have on my 150 is a stage2/3 motor with top end gearing. If i cant whats the max. i can put and ive heard of using a 9v battery, can i do that also?

yes u can use 6 batteries actually u could use 7 if u wanted since the max safe voltage is 8.4 volts

b4 i start....its a 130can

neways, nimh (rechargeables) are 1.2v ea = (x6NIMH x 1.2v = 7.2v)

(alkalynes = 1.5v x 6 = 9volts = damage!!!)

8.4v Max.

Sorry for my ****y camera.. but thats a hobbyclass 7.2volt batterypack ontop. Not real ofcoarse. Hmmmmm 7.2 volts.....

id really like to put the on um my monster truck f-150, i just put a brush gaurd an a wheelie bar on it

i killed my xmod 1 time by putting on a 7 cell, cuz they were fresh charged (1.3 per cell)

6 cell is the safest.. 7 cell is right at the limit which isnt safe.. the highest i would go is 6 cell
