Default Project: Drift Evo VIII

I am building up a drift Evolution (I know many have been built before). It all started out as Z06 Vette, but I bought the Evolution body from Atomic mods to start. I will buy the Awd upgrade and then new sealed roller bearings.

I swapped wheels from the Civic and painted them white for the rally look. Added white grease to the gearbox, steering rod, and the front nylon bearings. Also upgraded the batteries to Duracell Recharge 800mah and that made a big difference to the power output of the motor.

I will post pictures as soon as I get the Evolution body in the mail....

Sounds great, but have you seen the other project threads? tell me how borring it is to look at a new project thread with no picture...

Next time remember to wait to have pictures before posting a thread or else it's pretty much useless.

Last time I checked, there was no rule that said your first post had to have a picture... And what would be the point of posting a picture of a stock Xmod that you can see over and over again anywhere on the net? Not like it would be anything no one has seen. Not everything done on a step by step project needs a picture. Most of the time words are enough.

But if you really want to see a picture of the components I lubricated, and my upgraded batteries as to satisfy your "need" for pictures, then I guess your going to have to wait...

Then why start a project thread if you haven't started ? You can always tell us about your project later when you begin.

next time you do a project, dont post up a thread without pictures though. just a general guideline.

or if you deem it unworthy, then wait for your progress to look worthy, then post it up.

but imo, any progress is worth it. even a stock car is worth pictures
we want to see where you begin and where you are. not just where you ended

Idk posting a thread on a project without pics, its like a 'rick-roll' or sumthing to me lol.

Posting stock pics of your car is usually a just a good way to garner interest in your project(s) And it ain't like just seeing any ole pics from the internet on a stock car, cause they are 'your' pics.

When I saw this thread in the forum I passed on even looking cause I could see that there were no pics attached on it, no pics typically = no one will check it out

Ye know I don't think I have ever seen anyone take the lancer and do a rally version project before, even though people have in the past supposedly O.o

I thought about doing a rally car project one time a while back with a Evo or Subi but things came up.

Do you plan to make your car identical to the rally evo you posted a picture of, with the body kit and decals?
