Default Team Redmade: Rethink it All

Hello everybody...remember me

Title's a little inconclusive, eh? Well...thats the plan. I've strayed away from xmodding over the course of the school year, and have taken up assorted other hobbies...however, xmodding will always have a place in my heart.

But now, Xmodsource...I'd like to play a game

I've done some "novel" things in the past with xmodding, but with my return to xmodding, I'll leave you guys to do some guessing. NOBODY on the forum has any idea (mainly because I just concocted the plans in my sleep last night) so, good luck

Product name: Team Redmade P1

Lets just put it this way...I've returned, with AutoCAD 09, Carbon Fiber, and fully operational 3-axis miltronics CNC machine. Plus a restocked shop full of goodies.

But what could it be?

Like I said before...good luck ladies and gents

I remember seeing that CNC machine. Carbon fiber is always a good thing in the chassis departments, autocad is for your designs.

Like said above there may be some chassis in the near future.

Glad to see you are back.

Power Boat P1!!! If this has anything to do with the fastest growing off-shore racing series (PB1) then you've got me hooked on this project. Otherwise, we'll see..

Good to see you back, RedSX.

Cheers,
Kyle.

i remember he had like a crawler chassis or some form of that nature maybe he going to make it in carbon fiber.

it would be cool if he made like a baja kit with extended a arms and the top was extended so it would drive more like a baja truck....OMG is that the project our going to make??

I wonder how well that would work considering carbon fiber can conduct electricity.

Wait til you see what I have up my sleeve considering boats..

My next guess goes along with what B1G said: a crawler.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Carbon fibre chassis, custom cut for the Xmods series and CF parts ? Control arms, knuckles, motors, etc... ? Oh and the rear lower plate for the Gen 1 that never came in GPM

I'm gonna have to go with what Dontspamme said. Is it that? Man I hate teasers, they always leave me wondering.

AutoCAD, CF, and a CNC machine..... sounds like a lot of model analysis and preparation before machining something outta CF... if a CF chassis is close, the only thing I can think of with the hint "P1" would be Lemans or some type of super car chassis.

As for rethink it all, sounds like you're redesigning something, you were well known for your motor work and that custom "hybrid" of yours. Perhaps you're redesigning that chassis, or an existing chassis for either Xmod or Mini-Z.

Those would be my thoughts...

Knowing you Red, I'm pretty sure it's gotta be on a gen1 chassis for sure.

My guess is a gen1 based offroad/baja/sort of truck
or maybe just a track car, awd track car.
