Default Patriot comp: coca cola Delivery truck

So heres my entry for this month. Im using a 1953 ford pickup and a steak bed from some old model. The steak is real wood hand built with little tiny nails and some glue, so its very fragil. Its a good 30 years old. I have some decals coming from ebay. There off a race car but it has some realy nice decals on it that say coca cola. They will work great.

Heres some teaser shots.

Heres they decals i just got.

More to come later...

All I can say is cooool. That is classic American spirit right there, I can't wait to see this done. I dig the stake bed, and that is just the right year model of truck. Sweet.

Thanks, i cant wait to get it all mounted.

Got some updates. Started doing some body work to the hood. THe model had a blower motor sticking out of the hood. I didnt want anything to flashy for this project, i want it to look original. So i took some plastic sheeting, cut it to size, and glued it to the back, and then puttied the top of it. All most ready for primer.

More to come later. C&C welcome.

The blower i sold to you already. Its was the big orange one that was all put together. I think you put it in your super bee.

Any way, back on topic. I need some rim ideas. Should i use dualy rims for the back. Or just use the lift kit rims. I need ideas HELP!!!

Why not consider using the old style original Ford hubcaps? It would look much more original IMO, really vintage/nostalgic like. Put some cases of refreshing Coca-Cola in the back, (in the old style bottles, of course) Put in a little figurine for a driver, (with Coca-Cola apparell/uniform) lol...I'm getting in to this. Anyway, here's an idea of wheels:

For the right price, i mite sell it. I would imagine bondo would want it.

The only part that is 30 years old is the stack bed. That i bought off ebay.
