it looks to me that AMT/ERTL simply threw a bunch of parts together from their past molds to make this one.
i've had that same roll cage from previous builds and the shell looks identical to the superbird i put together last year.

to tell the truth though, i've never built a revelle or AMT that didnt need some ammount of work to get things straight.
tamiya and lindeburg are the top notch brands and the few that i've actually chucked the cash at came out great with little effort other then the build.

the two tabs underneath the bumper are for the liscense plate.
the superbird kit that i had actaully had a plate that said Charger but i'm almost sure that one of the Xmods plates would line up with the holes.

Ya i agree. I used to build alot of revell models as a kid and had to customize some things to get every thing to fit right. Since ive started with xmods, ive found that using tamiya and other imported brands are alot easyer to use on these cars. Either way, the model bodys have alot more detail than the stock xmod body will ever have.

But back on topic. Looks good so far. Always had a thing for a nice charger.

yeah, its looking that way. whole bunch of kits in one. haha. well i found another bumper in the kit that covers the holes. and i understand models needed some work. all i have done so far have. but this one is just rediculous. lol

depends on how the build goes. im wanting it to be a racer, but yet i dont like messing up bodies. we will see though.

well i finally made it to the lhs to get some more styrene ibeams to mount the car . i know i have 6 days to make it into the comp. but theres not a whole lot to this car. i need to make a rollcage, add seats, add interior, etc. and paint the car. getting ready to sand and fill some, then get the hood glued on it. and go from there.

thanks man, i actually am changing the blower thats in this. i ordered a new blower coop from atomic hobbies. and it showed up yesterday. working on getting it mounted up with the blower that came with this kit. in the process of stripping the chrom plating on the blower.
i started working on the roll cage last night. just got a couple more bars to run and she will be good to go.

its going pretty good, i should be painting the body, hood and blower tomorrow evening. finishing the interior, and then tuesday the roll cage should be painted, and the interior finished painting. as long as everything goes as planned anyway.
