Micro T elecs + motor question
Well, I have a micro t board and a Speedy 07.
Long story short, I want to use the Speedy 07 with the Micro T board. Will it work? The board is actually in a Xmod, not in an actual Micro T. I know the Micro T has 2x2 FETs default. I have lithium, 7.2 volts and am going to use an 8 tooth pinion. I'm not going overboard with this.

I have no clue how many turns the motor is. But it will be pretty small gearing, 8 pinion. The car has no binds and of course I have bearings I figured it would work, but micro t boards are pricey (30$). Thanks for the reply though, you put me a little bit more at ease. Any 2nd thoughts?

Its FET safe at low gearing. And this is a micro-t board, and I heard that the micro t FETs are weaker than say, xmod, FETs. I wanted a second opinion, not a smart remark. Thanks anyway.

Alright guys, thanks I'll give it a try. What made me worry was that goodfellaz over at XMF blew his fets using a high torque (higher turn, right?) motor for his drifter project.

Goodfellaz was also using a 180 sized motor, rather than a 130. It may have had a lower wind count than the Speedy 07 but a higher amount of torque due to the increased size in armature length and magnet length.
Cheers, Kyle.
